Newport Chocolates in Russell is my all time favourite. They are a special treat . When visiting Kerikeri check out Makana Chocolates and their desert restaurant . Their macadamia nut brittle is truly scrumptious you will be provided with a sample and a truffle on entry. Additional samples available on request. The best is the Saturday Packhouse Market in Kerikeri. It is inside the so can be enjoyed no matter what the weather is doing. The large baker sells some of the best Sourdough bread I have ever tasted!!! Plenty to choose from and you can easily have your breakfast here -

Northland has a rich history of wine-making, with the area's first vines having been planted in Kerikeri by Samuel Marsden. The first wine from these vines was made by James Busby.

Indian - Indian Fusion & Greens
Both restaurants in town serve excellent food,, are similarly priced and both do takeaways. Greens on the waterfront is a little busier. Indian Fusion is located upstairs above the four square and has recently been refubished. Parking is right outside the door and staff are excellent plus the food is always tasty. If you ask for indian hot you will get indian hot!!!
El Cafe - Lunch or Breakfast
Just around the corner from Busby Manor. Great for lunch or breakfast Serves excellent coffee and healthy smoothies and cold drinks. Wide selection of burritos and south american food
Thai Food - Greens & Amazing Thai
Both located next door to each other and are on the waterfront and food is excellent from them both. Both will do takeaways
Located along the waterfront from Busby. Good location for breakfast. On a weekend there is live music and this restaurant is very lively and ideal place to go along and meet the locals!! Currently serving Sunday roasts for $15 offering good value for money. Portions are a good size - you will not go home hungry

Large Verandah over the sea. A great place to relax and enjoy the sun in summer. Glass balconies and Great umbrellas provide shade from sun and wind. Ask the staff at Busby to join you up with the loyalty club to receive $10 off your first drink.
