Winterless Cruise
Enjoy a scenic trip via Sea Shuttle taking you straight to enjoy time on 2 Islands - Roberton & Moturua Island
This trip is three hours and great for those who enjoy walking.
Roberton Island has a walk to a scenic look out point that is beautiful, overlooking two Lagoons.
All areas of Urupukapuka and Moturua Island have native Birds and Trees. Which Bay you go to is decided on the day.

Highlights of the Bay Combo
Enjoy the half day Hole in the Rock Cruise and then step off in Russell to be taken on a one hour Bus Shuttle l seeing all the historic hotspots with a full commentary. This trip receives great feedback.
Spend the rest of your time in Russell as you wish and receive a complimentary ferry pass to return back to Paihia.

Tall Ship Sailing
Thompson is a great experience and you get the chance to help with the sailing preparations or just sit back and watch.
This option is now closed for the year as youth development voyages operate over the winter.The R. Tucker
In summer it includes Includes morning tea and a BBQ lunch and has a cash bar.
The evening sail includes an antipasto platter and is a shorter trip.

Discover the Bay
Enjoy a 3hr scenic cruise to the Hole in the Rock on the way you will stop at Urupukapuka Island to stretch your legs and discover the abundant bird life on the island or grab a bite to eat and enjoy the views.
Hole in the Rock Dolphin Cruise
A half day trip allows you to explore the Bay and visit Piercy Island as named by Captain Cook or Motukokao. Motu means island and Kokako were the birds that used to inhabit the island which were prized for the feathers. Young male warriors would journey to the island and climb it's steep cliffs to gather feathers for their cloaks with the Hole in the Rock
On most days you will have the opportunity to travel through the rock and out the other side. Enjoy some time on Otehei Bay - Ururupukapuka Island.

Snapper Fishing
The Bay of Islands is a fishing paradise. Our office can book all fishing operators.
Trips vary from 4 to 6 hours depending on whether you wish to target snapper or kingfish. Rods and bait are provided and the skipper will fillet your catch for you.
4 -5 hours Snapper trips on different types of boats
Some boats start early in the morning at 7am and some are later
Kingfishing
Six and seven hour options, ranging up to 40ft in boat size. Rods and bait provided and the fish caught is filleted for you.
Not cooking while on holiday?… Pop up to the local Swordfish Club close to Busby Manor who will batter and cook it for you.

Kayaking
At Busby Manor we have Kayaks available for $10 per "Northland hour" = as long as it takes
There is safe kayaking directly off the beach outside Busby Manor
Rental Kayaks are available from the Waitangi Bridge. Guided and unguided options are avaialble to the Haruru Falls. A very easy kayak especially if you go with the tide. There are some great mangroves to explore on the way and lots of birdlife. Look out for Spoonbill and nesting Shags (Cormorants)
Kayaks can also be rented on Urupukapuka Island

Dolphin Nature Cruise inc Snorkelling
Head out in search of Dolphins on a comfortable power cat, purpose built for dolphin viewing with observation decks and large side opening windows.
A snorkel spot will be chosen by the Skipper where you can enjoy time in the water.
If time permits, you will also visit Otehei Bay on Urupukapuka Island afterwards and if you wish you can extend your time on the island and return on one of the later ferries – at no extra cost.

Cream Trip - Full day on the water
The most popular and famous cruise in Bay of Islands.The “Cream Trip" began in 1927. The cruise explores most of the islands in the bay, stopping to drop off mail to residents living on the islands. Encounter dolphins along the way. Includes a lunchtime stop over on the island of the day (Take your own lunch, order ahead or purchase on board). The viewpoint from the top of the hill is absolutely stunning and includes a panorama of most of the islands and bays.
Along the way you can swim in the boom nets along the side of the boat.

Sundowner Evening Cruise
Best thing about this is the Catamaran is moored directy across the road from Busby Manor where you step aboard from the Beach.
Enjoy a relaxed and smooth sail in a peaceful setting while the sun is going down, have a swim stop and a complimentary drink.
Departs at 5pm and returns 7pm so a perfect evening cruise taking in the sights of the idyllic Bay of Islands before heading out with friends and family, a romantic getaway, or just the perfect escape from the daily grind!
