Highlights of the Bay Combo
Enjoy the half day Hole in the Rock Cruise and then step off in Russell to be taken on a one hour Bus Shuttle l seeing all the historic hotspots with a full commentary. This trip receives great feedback.
Spend the rest of your time in Russell as you wish and receive a complimentary ferry pass to return back to Paihia.
Tall Ship Sailing
Thompson is a great experience and you get the chance to help with the sailing preparations or just sit back and watch.
This option is now closed for the year as youth development voyages operate over the winter.The R. Tucker
In summer it includes Includes morning tea and a BBQ lunch and has a cash bar.
The evening sail includes an antipasto platter and is a shorter trip.
Discover the Bay
Enjoy a 4.5hrs scenic cruise to the Hole in the Rock. On the way you will stop at Urupukapuka Island to stretch your legs and discover the abundant bird life on the island or grab a bite to eat and enjoy the views.
Hole in the Rock Dolphin Cruise
A half day trip allows you to explore the Bay and visit Piercy Island as named by Captain Cook or Motukokao. Motu means island and Kokako were the birds that used to inhabit the island which were prized for the feathers. Young male warriors would journey to the island and climb it's steep cliffs to gather feathers for their cloaks with the Hole in the Rock
On most days you will have the opportunity to travel through the rock and out the other side. Enjoy some time on Otehei Bay - Ururupukapuka Island.

Snapper Fishing
The Bay of Islands is a fishing paradise. Our office can book all fishing operators and are conversant with availability.
Trips vary from 4 to 5 hours. Rods and bait are provided and the skipper will fillet your catch for you.
Some boats depart at 7am and some are later afternoon.
Kingfishing
6 or 7 hour options, ranging up to 40ft in boat size. Rods and bait provided and the fish caught is filleted for you.
Not cooking while on holiday?… Pop up to the local Swordfish Club close to Busby Manor who will batter and cook it for you.

Day in the Bay - Full day on the water
The most popular and famous cruise in Bay of Islands.The “Cream Trip" began in 1927. The cruise explores most of the islands in the bay, stopping to drop off mail to residents living on the islands. Encounter dolphins along the way. Includes a lunchtime stop over on the island of the day (Take your own lunch, order ahead or purchase on board). The viewpoint from the top of the hill is absolutely stunning and includes a panorama of most of the islands and bays.
Along the way you can swim in the boom nets along the side of the boat.
